Q. Who or what is CMS Connex?
A. CMS Connex is the name given to our website which offers independent advice on content management systems. Part of which includes our training courses as well as features on popular CMSs.
Q. Who is behind CMS Connex?
A. Contact Media Ventures Ltd is behind CMS Connex. The company has been established in the Stockport area since April 2001, formed as a media agency with emphasis on event registration systems.
Q. You advertise the Manchester courses as being near Stockport. Why's that?
A. Our Manchester courses, which are actually in Bredbury is ideally placed for Junction 25 of the M60 motorway.
Q. How long does our courses last for?
A. Typically a single day, from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
Q. How many people can attend our courses?
A. We can honour each course date with a minimum of two candidates.
Q. Being as your course days include a buffet lunch, what about dietary requirements?
A. We can accommodate people on special diets (vegetarian, gluten free, casein free, Halal for example) for each of our buffets. Please notify us by telephone or email up to three days before the course.

Q. Some of our candidates have a disability. Is there any way you can accommodate them?
A. Feel free to discuss your requirements by telephone or email prior to the course date. We will happily accommodate them at our Manchester venue and the other city centre venues we use.
Q. Can I learn from my own computer at home or selected machines in my premises?
A. Yes, with courses conducted from our base to your computer. To allow this each candidate should install Teamviewer, which is free for private use.
Q. What is Teamviewer?
A. Teamviewer is a program which allows you to work with a remote computer. Versions are also available for mobile devices as well as Linux, Windows and Mac OS based computers.
Q. What do I need to take in to the classroom?
A. Pens, pencils and a notebook may be helpful for taking down notes. You may choose to record the lecture on a dictaphone or similar device for your own use.
Q. What about my laptop or digital tablet?
A. Laptops are available for your own use at all venues.
Q. How do I pay for my course fees?
A. We take credit and debit cards, cheques, and BACS transfers.
